The Commentary states: The second master says: the two emptinesses are instantaneously realized and the two obstructions are instantaneously severed; or the three minds are perfected: one uninterrupted, one liberation, and one advanced, because one enters the resembling seeing from the true; or one uninterrupted and one liberation without needing the advanced, entering the inferior from the superior. These make two explanations, totaling eleven explanations, as explained in the Separate Notes. Fascicle fifty-eight and the ninth fascicle of the Abhidharma[-samuccaya-bhāṣya] say: 'Furthermore, in this path of seeing, the cognized and the cognizer are equal, and equal wisdom is its characteristic'—the passage that speaks of a single mind is now taken as proof. However, fascicle fifty-five is superior; herein the two passages are mutually reconciled as in the notes on the ninth fascicle of the Abhidharma[-samuccaya-bhāṣya]—this is the true path of seeing. Previously during the preparatory stage, the intention was to sever both together; therefore, upon entering the stage of contemplation, they are not separately divided into three. An ancient worthy who says that there are three explanations here is incorrect.
