The Commentary states: Below is the fourth section: the virtues of entering the ground. Vasubandhu's sixth fascicle states: "Because through this they cause the lineage of the Buddhas never to be interrupted." Asvabhāva says: "The Dharma-realm of the Buddhas is called the family of the Tathāgatas; because one realizes and unites with this, it is called being born. Because superior knowledge with respect to this object is born, and because having transformed the former basis one gives birth to another basis, one continues the lineage of the Buddhas so that it is never interrupted, up to realizing the true Dharma-realm by means of prajñā, which is called being born within it and is called a true child of the Buddha, because this prajñā sustains one's own continuum."
