Fascicle fifty-six says: "Question: If one is born into the second dhyāna or born into a higher level, if the eye and other consciousnesses with investigation and with analysis manifest before one, how is this level without investigation and without analysis? If they do not manifest, how could one experience the objective spheres of that level with respect to those material sense faculties? Answer: Because the seeds of those consciousnesses with investigation and with analysis follow along with the samādhi without investigation and without analysis, after arising from that [samādhi], these are able to manifest before one," and so on up to extensive explanations.
