2.33

論云：若離實等至如畢竟無等。《樞要》云：是有法自相相違過。又云：今舉無法為喻，亦成決定相違，即如論說。

The śāstra says: 'If it were apart from substance and so forth [...] down to: like absolute non-existence and so forth.' The Hub and Essentials says: 'This is the fault of contradiction to the substratum's own nature (dharmi-svarūpa-viparīta-sādhana).' It also says: 'Now adducing non-existence as the example also constitutes decisive contradiction (viruddhāvyabhicārin), just as the śāstra states.'
