7.145

各一品中，亦有四解：一云五心；一云四心，除勝進；一云四心，即後無間為前解脫，別起勝進入相見道；一云三心，亦除勝進。總十六釋。頓斷十釋者，各分三品。合頓斷中同前漸斷，除一勝進，亦為四解。各分二品亦同前漸，分為四解。各一品中但為二解，無唯一心義，說為二之中解也。如漸、頓斷，各分為三，俱非正釋。各分二中，第二二中，後二釋正，順教文故。頓中各一，初二解正，第三及餘皆不正釋。

In each having a single grade, there are also four explanations: one says five mind-[moments]; one says four mind-[moments], omitting the advanced path; one says four mind-[moments], where the subsequent uninterrupted path is the preceding liberation, separately generating an advanced path to enter the path of seeing with marks; one says three mind-[moments], also omitting the advanced path. This makes sixteen interpretations in all. As for the ten interpretations of sudden severance: each is divided into three grades. In combined sudden severance, as in gradual severance above, omitting one advanced path, there are also four explanations. Each divided into two grades, likewise as in gradual severance above, is divided into four explanations. In each having a single grade, there are only two explanations; there is no single-mind explanation where it is semantically explained as two. As for gradual and sudden severance, each divided into three [grades] are both not correct interpretations. Among those each divided into two, in the second pair of two, the latter two interpretations are correct, because they conform to the scriptural texts. Among the sudden [theories with] each having one [grade], the first two explanations are correct; the third and the rest are all not correct interpretations.
