If so, the initial sixteen minds are also absent in the various schools; could they also not practice them? If they also do not practice them, that contradicts fascicle nine of the Samuccaya, which says: "The established refers to śrāvakas and others following their own realization, having attained the culmination, in order to make others understand as well," up to "the established truth of the path refers to having such-and-such patiences and such-and-such knowledges regarding the truths, and so forth." If so, why do the various schools not speak of the general sixteen minds, but only have the sixteen minds of the upper and lower [realms]?
