《論》：「謂具大乘二種種性」等者。性種性，明本有性，明性有無、正助、隱顯，廣如《能顯中邊惠日論》辨。然《瑜伽》三十五云：謂諸菩薩六處殊勝，有如是相，從無始世展轉傳來法爾所得，名本性住種性。

Regarding the treatise's statement, "meaning that one possesses the two kinds of gotra of the Mahāyāna", and so forth: The gotra of original nature explains the naturally endowed nature, and explains the presence or absence of the nature, primary and secondary, hidden and manifest, as extensively distinguished in the Nengxian zhongbian huiri lun. However, Yogācārabhūmi 35 says: For all bodhisattvas, the excellence of the six āyatanas has such characteristics, handed down successively from beginningless time and acquired naturally; this is named the gotra abiding in original nature.
