4.88

釋曰：識與赤白損益共俱，和雜成身。若即意識者，謂此若非阿賴耶識。既和合已者，謂受生已。依止此識者，依異熟識。

The exposition states: The consciousness and the red and white [fluids] share harm and benefit together, blending to form the body. 'If that mental consciousness' means: if this were not the ālaya-consciousness. 'After blending' means: after taking birth. 'Relying on this consciousness' means relying on the retribution-consciousness.
