1.60

「阿賴耶識望第六識得有二緣：阿賴耶識生現行六識故得有因緣，不相障礙故得有增上緣；不由阿賴耶識滅故第六識得生，無等無間緣。阿賴耶識不能緣六識為境故，無所緣緣。

"The ālaya-vijñāna with respect to the sixth consciousness can have two conditions: because the ālaya-vijñāna generates the actively manifest sixth consciousness, there can be the causal condition; because they do not obstruct each other, there can be the sovereign condition; since the sixth consciousness does not arise due to the cessation of the ālaya-vijñāna, there is no immediately antecedent condition; and because the ālaya-vijñāna cannot take the sixth consciousness as an object, there is no objective support condition.
