1.66

「第六意識當體自望得有三緣：謂前後相緣故有所緣緣，前心有開闢義故有等無間緣，不相障礙故有增上緣；從阿賴耶識種子生故，無因緣。

"When the sixth mano-vijñāna is considered in its own nature, it can have three conditions: because earlier and later cognize each other, there is the objective support condition; because the prior mind has the sense of clearing the way, there is the immediately antecedent condition; because they do not obstruct each other, there is the sovereign condition; but because it is born from the seeds in the ālaya-vijñāna, there is no causal condition.
