This is the fourth [section], explaining the six kleśas. As for 'kleśa' (affliction): tormenting and disturbing the body and mind is called kleśa. As for 'rāga' (greed): being attached to and craving sentient beings, material provisions, and the like is called rāga. Giving rise to harm toward sentient beings so that the mind is not at peace is called pratigha. Giving rise to haughtiness regarding manifold wealth, sensual forms, and the like, reckoning oneself superior to others, is called māna. Understanding reality is called vidyā (clarity); failing to understand reality is called avidyā (ignorance). Regarding the truths, having hesitation in mind like standing at a crossroads is called vicikitsā. Knowing in conformity with the object is called samyagdṛṣṭi; this view being deviant and perverse is called asamyagdṛṣṭi. This concludes the fourth [section] above, explaining the six kleśas.
