問：「依論但說四全不成，何須強作多種分別？」答：「論略示法，不必具陳，設文外加亦何爽理？況有誠證。《理門論》中解不成已，結云：『如是所說一切品類所有言詞皆非能立。』若非如前種種差別，更說何法名為品類？故應如前差別分別。」

Question: "The treatise only speaks of four completely unestablished reasons. Why is it necessary to forcefully make so many distinctions?" Answer: "The treatise briefly illustrates the method and does not necessarily expound everything fully. Even if additions are made outside the text, how does that violate the principles? What is more, there is trustworthy textual evidence: in the Nyāyamukha, after explaining asiddha, it concludes: 'Statements of all kinds such as these are not valid proofs.' If not for the various distinctions mentioned above, what other phenomena would be called 'kinds'? Therefore, one should make distinctions as described above."
