悲觀中，先觀眾生三世重苦。次、「難捨」下，無心厭背故使苦無限也。後、「眾生如是」下，深發悲心也。

Within the contemplation of compassion, it first contemplates the heavy suffering of sentient beings in the three times. Next, from 'difficult to abandon' onward, because they have no intention to turn away in aversion, their suffering is without limit. Later, from 'Sentient beings such as these' onward, one deeply arouses the mind of compassion.
