10.53

四中二：初、標名顯體。論　緣熏等者，緣即外緣，為諸眾生而作發起善根之外緣故。熏習者，熏謂資熏，熏成習氣發善根故。依法出離者，依於體相以起用也。

In the fourth, there are two: first, indicating the name and revealing the essence. The Treatise: "Perfuming through conditions..." and so forth: "conditions" means external conditions, serving as external conditions that give rise to the roots of goodness for all sentient beings. "Perfuming": perfuming means nourishing and perfuming, perfuming to form latent tendencies so as to bring forth roots of goodness. "Emerging in reliance on the dharma": relying on the essence and attributes to give rise to function.
