10.55

即彼下，二：初、通釋上文。與彼等者，謂與二乘、十信作差別緣，與三賢、十地作平等緣，如下用熏習中說。

The Commentary: "Precisely that..." and below has two [parts]: first, generally explaining the text above. "With those..." and so forth means serving as differentiated conditions for the two vehicles and the ten faiths, and serving as equal conditions for the three grades of worthies and the ten stages, as explained below in [the section on] perfuming through function.
