11.62

五中，論二：一、直明本相。疏　亦細分者，此是法執分別，麁於俱生，故除微字，但云細分。此上二識皆云細者，以是麁中之細故，同是法執故。

In the fifth [mark], the treatise has two parts: 1. Directly clarifying its intrinsic mark. The Commentary says: "Also a subtle portion": this is conceptual differentiation belonging to attachment to dharmas, coarser than the innate; therefore the word "subtle-most" is omitted, and it is merely called a "subtle portion." The reason both of these two consciousnesses above are called "subtle" is that they are the subtle within the coarse, and both are attachment to dharmas.
