論 若心有下,三、妄見真知對。非真識知者,動則不如實知,故非真也。疏 反之等者,以心無動故,則所知真實。真實者,離偽妄故。從此已下至不自在,一一文初應合皆有若心有動之言。仍於本句之末,更云心性無動等,即隨句翻對。論文存略,但舉能對之妄也。
The treatise states: "If the mind has..." onward—third, the pairing of deluded seeing versus true knowing. "Not true consciousness and cognition"—when there is movement, one does not know as it truly is, and therefore it is not true. The commentary states: "Contrasting with it..." onward—because the mind has no movement, that which is known is true and real. "True and real" means free from falsity and delusion. From here down to "not sovereign," the beginning of each text segment should properly have the words "if the mind has movement." Still, at the end of each respective phrase, it should further say "the mind-nature has no movement," etc., counter-matching following each phrase. The treatise text preserves brevity, merely raising the deluded [aspects] that are matched against.
