「『何安坐林而大語，委國財位守空閑；
不見我興四部兵，象馬步兵億八千。
已見猴猨師子面，虎兕毒蛇豕鬼形；
皆持刀劒擭戈矛，超踔哮吼滿空中。』

"‘How can you sit at ease in the forest and boast so boldly,
Abandoning kingdom and wealth to keep to empty seclusion?
Do you not see that I have raised an army of four divisions,
Elephants, horses, and foot soldiers numbering one hundred and eighty million?
Already you have seen the faces of monkeys and lions,
The forms of tigers, wild bovines, venomous snakes, swine, and ghosts;
All holding swords, gripping halberds and spears,
Leaping, bounding, roaring, filling the open sky.’
