次就識分別。識謂六識，此之六垢起在意地，不通五識。《毘曇》、《成實》例同此說（此四門竟）。

Next, differentiation with respect to consciousness. Consciousness refers to the six consciousnesses. These six stains arise in the mental plane (manobhūmi) and do not extend to the five sensory consciousnesses. Both the *Abhidharma* and the *Tattvasiddhi* conform to this explanation. (This completes the fourth gate.)
