是以言常而不住、稱去而不遷。不遷故，雖往而常靜；不住故，雖靜而常往。雖靜而常往，故往而弗遷；雖往而常靜，故靜而弗留矣。

"Therefore, though spoken of as permanent, they do not abide; though called departing, they do not move. Because they do not move, though passing away, they are ever-still; because they do not abide, though still, they ever pass away. Because though still they ever pass away, in passing away they do not move; because though passing away they are ever-still, in stillness they are not detained."
