萬機頓赴而不撓其神、千難殊對而不干其慮，動若行雲、止猶谷神，豈有心於彼此、情繫於動靜者乎？

Ten thousand capacities converge all at once without perturbing his spirit; a thousand varied difficulties present themselves without disturbing his thought; moving, he is like floating clouds; resting, he is like the spirit of the valley; how could he have an intention regarding this or that, or have feelings bound to motion and stillness?
