In the first two lines, when opposed to existence, non-existence is indeed non-existence. But if the two dharmas depend on each other, non-existence arising because of existence, both are conditioned existences. From 'these are' downward shows that words and forms arise following existence and non-existence, and right and wrong arise relying on words and forms; how could they suffice to illuminate the profound, deep, and marvelous path?
