言隨法起，談真以真為本、說俗以俗為根。既談涅槃之體，正當如體而言。涅槃之體彌綸法界，未有一法而非涅槃。若此，則本來即是，更何論得？《起信論》云：「一切諸法畢竟平等，即真即如（云云）。」

Words arise following phenomena: when discussing the real, one takes the real as the basis; when speaking of the conventional, one takes the conventional as the root. Having discussed the substance of nirvāṇa, one should speak precisely in accordance with that substance. The substance of nirvāṇa encompasses the entire dharma-realm, and there is not a single phenomenon that is not nirvāṇa. If so, then fundamentally it is already this, so why discuss attainment any further? The Awakening of Faith says: "All phenomena are ultimately equal, identical to truth, identical to suchness..." and so forth.
