1.83

八、或有眾生於此世中三乘根不定故，堪可進入別教一乘者，即知彼三乘等法，本來不異別教一乘。何以故？為彼所目故、更無異事故，如《法華經》同教說者是。

Eighth: there may be sentient beings in this world who, because their Three Vehicles capacity is not fixed, are capable of entering the distinct teaching One Vehicle; thus they know that those dharmas of the Three Vehicles and so forth are originally not different from the distinct teaching One Vehicle. Why? Because they are what it indicates, and there is no separate matter, as stated in the Saddharmapuṇḍarīka-sūtra regarding the common teaching.
