1.84

九、或有眾生於此世中具有普賢機者，即見如來從初成道乃至涅槃，一切佛法普於初時第二七日海印定中自在演說無盡，具足主伴無窮因陀羅網微細境界，本末不見說三乘小乘等法，如《華嚴經》別教中說者是。此約普賢教分見聞及解行處說。

Ninth: there may be sentient beings in this world who possess the capacity of Samantabhadra; thus they see the Tathāgata, from his initial completion of the Path up to nirvāṇa, spontaneously expounding all the inexhaustible Buddhist teachings universally during the initial period of the second seven days within the ocean-seal samādhi, completely endowed with the inexhaustible Indra's net subtle realm of ruler and retinues, and from beginning to end they do not see the preaching of the dharmas of the Three Vehicles, Hīnayāna, and so on, as stated in the distinct teaching of the Avataṃsaka-sūtra. This is stated in terms of the stage of hearing and understanding-practice in the teaching aspect of Samantabhadra.
