Second is the cessation of contemplating the person as quiescent and severing desires. This means that the five aggregates lacking a master is called 'quiescent', and being empty and quiescent without seeking is called 'severing desires'. Therefore it is called the cessation of contemplating the person as quiescent and severing desires.
