三、依理成事門，謂事無別體，要因真理而得成立。以諸緣起皆無自性故，由無性理，事方成故。如波攬水以成動，水望於波，能成立故。依如來藏，得有諸法，當知亦爾。思之。

3. The gate of phenomena being established dependent on principle: This means that phenomena have no separate substance and must rely on true principle to be established. Because all conditioned arisings lack self-nature, it is through the principle of naturelessness that phenomena can be accomplished. Just as waves gather water to form movement, water, viewed in relation to waves, is able to establish them. It should be known that the existence of all dharmas dependent on the tathāgatagarbha is also like this. Contemplate this.
