觀曰：九、真理非事門，謂即事之理而非是事，以真妄異故、實非虛故、所依非能依故。如即波之水非波，以動濕異故。

The Contemplation says: Nine, the gate of true principle not being phenomena. This means that the principle that is identical to phenomena is not phenomena, because the true and the false are different, the real is not the unreal, and that which is relied upon is not that which relies. It is like the water identical to waves not being the waves, because movement and wetness are different.
