能依非所依故。是故舉體全理而事相宛然。如全水之波非水，以動義非濕故。
and because that which relies is not that which is relied upon. Therefore, although its entire substance is completely principle, phenomenal characteristics remain distinctly manifest. Just as waves, which are entirely water, are not water, because the meaning of motion is not moisture.
