法融云：即生不生等者，即生者無明因緣行果生，故即生也。生縛說者，不生也。不生生者，無明滅故，行滅則不生也。滅縛說者，生也。不住義者，且約一塵不住於自位，盡於法界約約皆然故也。中道義者，隨舉無側故也。

Farong said: Regarding 'that which is produced is unproduced', etc.: 'That which is produced' means that through the conditions of ignorance, activities and effects are produced, hence 'that which is produced'. Spoken from the standpoint of the bondage of production, it is unproduced. 'The unproduced is produced' means that because ignorance ceases, activities cease, and thus there is non-production. Spoken from the standpoint of the bondage of cessation, it is produced. Regarding the sense of 'non-abiding': provisionally considering a single dust particle, it does not abide in its own position, and this is completely true throughout every part of the dharmadhātu. Regarding the sense of the 'Middle Way': whatever is picked up is without bias.
