初、中土經部，謂中土多羅葉經，此方翻譯紙素六別（一者，單翻。二、重翻。三、失譯。四、雜錄。五、疑經。六、偽引）。二、此方集錄（謂佛法東流已來，道俗諸賢各通揚化，或造論錄，或造讚傳，皆非意指，並入經收。《智論》解也。如童壽《實相》、僧祐《法苑》、文宣王《淨住子》、梁簡文《法寶聯璧》等也）。三、二方雜紀（謂二方道俗通經解論，各述意言，解釋經義，所有鈔疏等。或傳述兩土名德高僧，聖跡有無，住持衰盛，遊履記傳等也）。四、擬寫經具（謂紙墨筆硯、案机枕則、治紙界具、裝潢帙軸等也）。五、所盛經具（謂厨箱簏匱、函案架閣、巾袋帊襆等也）。

First, scriptures from the Central Country, referring to palm-leaf scriptures from the Central Country, and the six distinctions of paper and silk translations in this land (first, single translations; second, re-translations; third, lost translations; fourth, miscellaneous records; fifth, suspect scriptures; sixth, spurious citations). Second, compilations of this land (referring to works since the eastward transmission of the Buddhadharma, where various worthy monastics and laypeople disseminated teachings, whether composing treatise catalogs or composing praises and biographies, all of which, though not original intent, are classified together as scriptures, as explained in the Dazhidu lun; such as Kumārajīva's Reality, Sengyou's Fayuan, King Wenxuan's Jingzhuzi, Emperor Jianwen of Liang's Fabao lianbi, and so forth). Third, miscellaneous records of both lands (referring to monastics and laypeople of both lands who comprehended the scriptures and explicated the treatises, each setting forth their intended words to interpret scriptural meanings, including all their commentaries and subcommentaries; or accounts transmitting noted and virtuous eminent monks of both lands, the presence or absence of sacred traces, the decline and prosperity of maintenance, travel journals, biographies, and so forth). Fourth, implements intended for copying scriptures (referring to paper, ink, brushes, inkstones, desks, tables, armrests, rulers, paper-treating and ruling implements, book-mounting covers, scroll rollers, and so forth). Fifth, containers holding scriptures (referring to cabinets, boxes, hampers, chests, cases, desks, shelves, bookracks, wrappers, bags, scarves, kerchiefs, and so forth).
