The above are all essential personal requisites, so by principle they are judged as classified as light property. Thus the Vinaya's regulation states that without a needle or water-filter, one must not travel. This clearly shows that they are constant resources for use. Furthermore, as the *Mahāsāṃghika Vinaya* states, once ordained, one is prescribed to keep a 규ṇḍikā that conforms to Dharma. How could this not be a necessity for daily activity? Therefore it enters the distribution. Moreover, the *Sarvāstivāda* says: of items resembling precious materials, bronze, iron, or variegated beads that fall within the category of the hundred and one requisites, one may take them without needing to perform vikalpanā. Thus we know that distributing them as light property is well-considered.
