'Next, I take refuge with my life in the twelvefold canon of sūtras, good in the beginning, the middle, and the end, pure in their meaning and flavour, spontaneously complete, opening and revealing the most supreme and foremost brahma-conduct, crossing over to the other shore, of profound true reality, of equal and great wisdom, innately pure, where the operations of the mind cease and the path of words is cut off. Moreover, this correct Dharma has unobstructed spheres of reality; it is spoken for the sake of sentient beings without contravening the true meaning. Because it is the unsurpassed good medicine for transcending the world, eradicating the beginningless afflictions of sentient beings, I now reverently prostrate with my whole heart.'
