僧淨厨院自有三所，南北而列。是佛滅後十二年中，為病比丘制斯地。諸比丘等，從四大院東門而出。門對淨厨中院。南巷厨院南橫二大院，中開一巷，南北施門。南門極大，題曰寺大園門。

The Pure Kitchen Courtyard of the Saṅgha itself has three sections, arranged from south to north. This site was established for sick bhikṣus twelve years after the Buddha's nirvāṇa. The bhikṣus go out through the east gate of the Four Great Courtyards. The gate faces the Middle Courtyard of the Pure Kitchen. The south lane of the Kitchen Courtyard lies across two great courtyards to the south, with a lane opened in the middle and gates installed to the south and north. The south gate is extremely large, inscribed 'Monastery Great Garden Gate.'
