1.111

Or, upon hearing of arising and cessation, one immediately understands arising-and-cessation, non-arising-and-non-cessation, and neither arising-and-cessation nor non-arising-and-non-cessation, doubly illuminating arising-and-cessation and non-arising-and-non-cessation. Being one, they are three; being three, they are one: the secret of the dharmadhātu, fully endowed with constancy and bliss. [Such a person vows:] "May I attain Buddhahood and be able to expound the secret treasury for sentient beings, like a person of merit who takes hold of stone and turns it to jewel, or takes hold of poison and turns it to medicine!" and so forth.
