2.78

今觀氣息，觸七處，和合出聲如響，不內、不外，無能誦、所誦；悉以四運推檢，於塵不起受者，於緣不生作者，煩惱不間誦說，念念流入大涅槃海，是名「精進」（云云）。

Now, contemplating the breath: striking the seven places, it harmonizes to produce sounds like echoes, neither internal nor external, with neither reciter nor that which is recited; examining all through the four movements, one gives rise to no receiver toward sense objects and produces no agent toward conditions; afflictions do not interrupt recitation and explanation, and thought-moment by thought-moment one flows into the great sea of nirvāṇa: this is called 'vigor' (and so on).
