3.139

次、約諦、智合辯者，三藏真諦發一眼一智；俗諦發一眼一智；兩諦共發一眼一智。慧眼、一切智，緣真諦；法眼、道種智，緣俗諦；佛眼、一切種智，共緣真俗兩諦。不得道雙照，秖得道前後共照耳。

Next, discussing them in terms of combining truths and wisdoms: in the Tripiṭaka, the ultimate truth gives rise to one eye and one wisdom; the conventional truth gives rise to one eye and one wisdom; both truths together give rise to one eye and one wisdom. The wisdom-eye and sarvajñatā focus on the ultimate truth; the Dharma-eye and mārgākārajñatā focus on the conventional truth; the Buddha-eye and sarvākārajñatā together focus on both truths, ultimate and conventional. One cannot say that they illuminate both simultaneously, but only that they illuminate both sequentially.
