3.224

為破邪因緣、無因緣，說三藏觀；為破拙度，故說通觀；為破共法，故說別觀；為破帶方便，故說圓觀。是為「對治悉檀」說權實止觀也。

To destroy deviant causes and conditions and absence of causes and conditions, he expounds the Tripiṭaka contemplation; to destroy clumsy salvation, he expounds the shared contemplation; to destroy shared dharmas, he expounds the distinctive contemplation; to destroy that which carries provisional means, he expounds the perfect contemplation. This is expounding the provisional and real calming and contemplation for the "counteractive siddhānta."
