5.120

云何對治悉檀？說心治一切惡，如言：「得一心者，萬邪滅矣。」即其文也。或說緣治一切惡，如說：「得聞無上大慧明，心定如地不可動。」即其文也。或說因緣和合治一切惡，如言：「一分從思生，一分從師得。」即其文也。或說離治一切惡，「我坐道場時，不得一切法；空拳誑小兒，誘度於一切。」即其文也。是為對治悉檀，心破一切惡。

What is the therapeutic siddhānta? It teaches that the mind remedies all evils, as it is said: "When one attains single-mindedness, the myriad evils are extinguished"—this is the passage. Or it teaches that conditions remedy all evils, as it is said: "Having heard the unsurpassed illumination of great wisdom, the mind is steadfast like the earth, immovable"—this is the passage. Or it teaches that the harmony of causes and conditions remedies all evils, as it is said: "One portion arises from reflection, and one portion is obtained from a master"—this is the passage. Or it teaches that being apart [from causes and conditions] remedies all evils: "When I sat at the bodhimaṇḍa, I did not attain any phenomenon; with an empty fist I deceive small children, enticing and crossing over all"—this is the passage. This is the therapeutic siddhānta, in which the mind destroys all evils.
