5.29

雜不雜者，發一境已，更發一境，歷歷分明，是為不雜。適發陰入，復起煩惱；煩惱未謝，復業、復魔、禪、見、慢等，交橫並沓，是為雜發。雖雜，不出十種。

"Mixed or unmixed" means: once one realm has arisen, another realm arises subsequently, distinct and clear; this is unmixed. If, just as the aggregates and sense-bases arise, defilements also occur; and before defilements have faded, karma, Māra, dhyāna, views, pride, and so forth also arise, crisscrossing and crowding together—this is mixed arising. Even when mixed, they do not exceed the ten kinds.
