8.186

一根有三受，一受有二十邪法，三受合六十邪法；歷五根合三百邪法。雖九十五種，種種異邪；而其初入，必因五根。細尋三百，必與彼相應也。夫𢟋惕多令禪觀喪失；時媚多令人得邪法；魔羅備此二損也。

One faculty has three feelings, one feeling has twenty erroneous dharmas, and the three feelings together make sixty erroneous dharmas; traversing the five faculties, they make a total of three hundred erroneous dharmas. Although there are ninety-five kinds of various different errors, their initial entry must rely on the five faculties. If one carefully examines the three hundred, they must correspond with those. In general, the chuti mostly causes the loss of dhyāna contemplation; the seasonal spirits mostly cause people to attain erroneous dharmas; and the māra possesses both of these harms.
