8.46

第二四句者：斷煩惱出、斷煩惱不出、斷煩惱亦出亦不出、斷煩惱非出非不出。一謂析法無學輔佛益眾生，二謂析法無學即入滅者，三謂析法學人自利利他者，四謂真理。

The second four propositions are: severing defilements and emerging; severing defilements and not emerging; severing defilements, and both emerging and not emerging; severing defilements, and neither emerging nor not emerging. The first refers to those beyond training through analyzing dharmas who assist the Buddha and benefit sentient beings; the second refers to those beyond training through analyzing dharmas who immediately enter cessation; the third refers to practitioners in training through analyzing dharmas who benefit themselves and benefit others; the fourth refers to the true principle.
