To state the essential: when the precepts, concentration, and wisdom within the nine dharmadhātus enter the king samādhi, their name changes to 'noble conduct.' That with which noble conduct accords, abiding in the truth of reality, is called 'heavenly conduct.' When heavenly conduct possesses the identity of essence and objectless loving-kindness, it is 'pure conduct.' Clearly explaining compassion as identifying with afflictions to uproot suffering is 'illness conduct.' Clearly explaining loving-kindness as identifying with lesser goods to bestow joy is 'infant conduct.' By these five conduct-practices, ten merits are generated, up to the ultimate accomplishment of great nirvāṇa. This is called the arising and ceasing of the ten dharmas through dhyāna: the three truths in concealment and manifestation gradually arise, progressively enhancing and subsuming all into the Buddha Dharma, fully contained within the king samādhi identical to the middle. This is the conceivable realm, not what is presently contemplated.
