今釋背捨，即為五意：一、釋名；二、明次位；三、辯觀法不同；四、明修證；五、分別趣道之相。

Now, in explaining the liberations, there are five considerations: first, explaining the names; second, clarifying the sequential stages; third, distinguishing the differences among the methods of contemplation; fourth, clarifying cultivation and realization; fifth, discerning the characteristics of advancing toward the Path.
