次釋八勝處法門。八勝處者：一、內有色相，外觀色少，若好若醜，是名勝知勝見一勝處也；二、內有色相，外觀色多，若好若醜，是名勝知見二勝處也；三、內無色相，外觀色少，若好若醜，是名勝知見三勝處也；四、內無色相，外觀色多，若好若醜，是名勝知見四勝處也；五、青勝處；六、黃勝處；七、赤勝處；八、白勝處。

Next, the Dharma gate of the eight stations of mastery is explained. The eight stations of mastery are: 1. having notions of internal forms, one perceives external forms as few, whether pleasant or ugly—this is called the first station of mastery of mastering knowledge and mastering vision; 2. having notions of internal forms, one perceives external forms as many, whether pleasant or ugly—this is called the second station of mastery of mastering knowledge and vision; 3. having no notions of internal forms, one perceives external forms as few, whether pleasant or ugly—this is called the third station of mastery of mastering knowledge and vision; 4. having no notions of internal forms, one perceives external forms as many, whether pleasant or ugly—this is called the fourth station of mastery of mastering knowledge and vision; 5. the blue station of mastery; 6. the yellow station of mastery; 7. the red station of mastery; 8. the white station of mastery.
