問曰：若事修乃發非事非理等諸禪三昧不共之法，並由先世習因而得者，則一切隨事而修，皆應得首楞嚴等諸禪三昧不共之法。若爾，何故一切十方諸佛殷勤稱歎般若波羅蜜？若能如聞，行者即具足一切佛法。

Question: If phenomenal cultivation gives rise to the various dhyānas, samādhis, and unshared dharmas of neither phenomena nor principle, and all are attained due to practiced causes in past lives, then all who cultivate according to phenomena should attain the Śūraṅgama and other various dhyānas, samādhis, and unshared dharmas. If so, why do all the Buddhas of the ten directions earnestly praise the Prajñā-pāramitā, stating that if one can practice according to what is heard, the practitioner will be fully endowed with all Buddha dharmas?
