2. The arising of the wholesome roots of following breaths also occurs within the tranquil, concentrated mind of the desire realm and anāgamya. One suddenly perceives the length of the inhalation and exhalation, and the pores over the entire body becoming hollow and open. Then, with a clear mind, one sees the thirty-six bodily components within the body, just like opening a granary and seeing grains, millets, hemp, and beans. The mind feels great astonishment and delight, is quiescent, tranquil, and comfortable, eliminates bodily formations, and up to the mind experiencing joy and happiness. These are the signs of the wholesome roots of the sublime practices arising.
