二明內凡者有四：謂煗、頂、忍、世第一（此四位為內凡，亦名加行位，又名四善根位）。上來內凡、外凡總名凡位，亦名七方便位。

Second, explaining internal ordinary beings, there are four: namely, heat, summit, forbearance, and supreme mundane dharma. (These four ranks are internal ordinary beings, also called the stage of intensified practice, and also called the ranks of the four roots of goodness). The internal and external ordinary beings above are collectively named the ordinary ranks, and are also named the ranks of the seven expedients.
