第二、訶五欲。一、訶色，謂男女形貌端嚴，脩目高眉，丹脣皓齒，及世間寶物，玄黃朱紫種種妙色等。二、訶聲，謂絲竹環珮之聲，及男女歌詠聲等。三、訶香，謂男女身香，及世間飲食香等。四、訶味，謂種種飲食肴饍美味等。五、訶觸，謂男女身分柔軟細滑，寒時體溫、熱時體涼，及諸好觸等。

Second is reproaching the five desires: First is reproaching forms—namely, the stately and dignified bodily appearance of men and women, slender eyes and arched brows, red lips and white teeth, as well as worldly treasures, deep black, yellow, vermilion, purple, and various wonderful colors, and so forth. Second is reproaching sounds—namely, the sounds of strings, pipes, rings, and jade pendants, as well as the sounds of men and women singing and chanting, and so forth. Third is reproaching scents—namely, the bodily scents of men and women, as well as the scents of worldly food and drink, and so forth. Fourth is reproaching tastes—namely, various foods, drinks, delicacies, fine savors, and so forth. Fifth is reproaching tangibles—namely, the limbs and bodies of men and women being soft and delicate, warm when cold, cool when hot, as well as all fine tangibles, and so forth.
