問：今執內觀，未觀生佛三千，何故《辨訛》更令內觀託彼色、心依正？豈非其時全不識內、外二境耶？

Question: Now you insist that internal contemplation does not yet contemplate the three thousand [realms] of sentient beings and buddhas; why does the Bian'e further direct internal contemplation to rely on those circumstantial and primary conditionings of form and mind? Was it not that at that time you did not understand the two objects, internal and external, at all?
